In light of the current concerns related to COVID-19 and the recent mandates of the Santa Clara and Santa Cruz Counties, TherapyWorks has transitioned solely to telehealth support services until further notice. Please know that the health and wellness of our clients, employees and extended community remain our top priority. Our team is committed to taking the necessary steps to do our part to limit the risk while fulfilling our dedication to top-notch care as a trusted resource.
On that note, welcome to telehealth! Although we truly value the person-to-person experience, we are excited to have a great modern day alternative with online video-based sessions. As we see it, counseling must go on! It’s essential for many clients, and we feel it’s imperative to offer ongoing services. We’re ready for the transition and thankful to have our e-connect online therapy service available. Our telehealth program is confidential, user-friendly and very simple to use. We encourage everyone to:
- Be open to online therapy
We are all adjusting to a new “normal” and change can be hard. The online therapy experience might feel different and new, but we encourage you to give it a try! Online therapy is effective, trusted, and can allow ongoing connection and support during this time. If you are worried that you are not tech savvy enough for online therapy, please don’t discount the idea of making the switch. Our Client Care Coordinator is readily available to help.
- Keep “showing up”!
Therapy helps us stay healthy, stable, and grounded, both emotionally and mentally! In times of anxiety, stress and uncertainty, therapy is a source of support and a safe space to process our experiences. We strongly encourage clients to keep their appointments as scheduled, whether online or over the phone, and for any potential new clients to schedule your appointment today!
- Communicate often
Let us know how you are doing, if you are worried about your sessions, or if you are concerned about scheduling issues. We understand that the schedules of both our staff and clients are subject to change with school closings, changes at work, and more. We encourage everyone to be flexible and adaptive as we navigate this in the coming weeks.
